Varese and international rowing events

Varese is dedicated to developing international rowing throughout the province. This dedication has been demonstrated by the steady creation of the logistical and technical facilities required for hosting world-class, international events. Varese does not expect to win a World Championships bid without good reason, but as it has been assigned three international events and has bid for the World Championships, it aims to be recognised as an international benchmark location for hosting events of the highest level.
