Architects of the Liberty Style in Varese Province
The architect, Silvio Gambini, designed valuable buildings in Busto Arsizio using the most qualified local craftsmen for his wrought-iron creations. In Gallarate, the architect, Carlo Moroni, and engineer, Filippo Tenconi, built magnificent residential homes. Varese stood out, with its exceptional buildings by Giuseppe Sommaruga and Giovanni Chini, who introduced the use of the artificial stone, thereby anticipating its serial production for architectural purposes.
