Villa Magnani
The villa was designed in 1903 by Ulisse Stacchini, for Angelo Magnani, who succeeded Angelo Poretti as the head of the factory. It is worth remembering that, in 1912, Stacchini won in the tender for the Central Station in Milan. The building was completed in 1905. The villa towers over the factory, and is situated in the park designed by Stacchini himself. The vertical volume of the building is characterised by rhythmically alternating windows, emphasised by jambs decorated with floral patterns. What is worth noting outside are the relief decorations that have a naturalistic background: women's heads and floral frames. The horizontal brick bands and the strictly geometrical decorations of the ironwork reflect the decorative style of the brewery. Inside, the yellow and grey wall paintings and stucco work reflect the colours of the nearby brewery. The glazed tower was built between the two world wars, and covers the pre-existing terrace. The building hosts the factory's administrative offices.
