River Tresa
River Tresa, which flows from Lake Ceresio, forms the border between Italy and Switzerland for about 7 kilometres, and it then flows into Lake Maggiore, in the municipal district of Germignaga, after another 6 kilometres. In its course towards the lake, and above all after Cremenaga on the border, in the Tresa valley, the river runs at the bottom of a small gorge, forming a series of picturesque rapids.
