The belvedere of Monte Marzio
A mid-mountain excursion that offers nature lovers the chance to admire a series of splendid views.
A walk of about an hour, presenting no particular difficulties, takes you along the mountain belvedere. Monte Marzio offers a truly unique opportunity for those visiting these locations: in fact there is a whole series of viewpoints along the path running along the mountain's western slopes.
Walking through the forests in this area, climbing up from Via Bolchini, or immediately after the statue of the Madonna degli Alpini, you can pause to enjoy the superb views along the mule tracks. The trenches in the Cadorna Line, excavated during the First World War, can also be seen along the path.
